Planet Hollywood has announced that restaurateur, television personality and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri will introduce a burger and sandwich menu for the transformed Orlando, Florida flagship location, which is scheduled to reopen this fall as the Planet Hollywood Observatory (PHO) at Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney).

As many probably know, Guy Fieri won the second season of “The Next Food Network Star” and went on to host shows such as “Guy’s Big Bite,” “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” “Guys Grocery Games” and “Minute to Win it.” He also co-owns several restaurants in California, New York and Las Vegas.

Robert Earl, star of the Cooking Channel’s “Robert Earl’s Be My Guest” and Planet Hollywood International Founder and Chairman, reached  out to Fieri because of their shared passion for food. Along with Fieri’s menu contributions, the PHO will soon reveal an entire new menu, which features a wide variety of selections.

“Guy Fieri has created an impressive culinary empire and has built an incredible TV following with several food-themed shows, so it was a no-brainer to invite him to create a special menu for Planet Hollywood Observatory. This partnership only furthers our commitment to refresh our guest experience while continuing to offer freshly-prepared pleasing dishes.” – Robert Earl

Fieri has brought his signature blend of authentic and surprising flavor combinations to new dishes such as the Prime Time American Kobe-Inspired Burger and The Turkey Pic-a-nic Sandwich.

“It’s awesome to be working with Robert Earl and The Planet Hollywood Team. For the PHO, I’m bringing a big time burger and sandwich menu with real deal flavors for everyone.” – Guy Fieri

The new dining options at PHO highlight Planet Hollywood’s classics and introduce Fieri’s updated creations. Beverage choices include a variety of milkshakes, smoothies, wines, bottled and draft beers and cocktails. Spacious dining rooms and bar space allow plenty of choices for comfortable seating for any size group.

True to its name, the exterior of PHO is reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century observatory. A modern design aesthetic combines with the interior’s refurbished upholstery, planet-shaped lighting fixtures and stylish attitude to create a welcoming and unique atmosphere.

PHO opens this fall and is centrally located to overlook the heart of Disney Springs. It has a newly expanded outdoor terrace and bar as well as other features that include a new merchandise line and a host of celebrity collaborations.

Downtown Disney … errr … I mean, Disney Springs (it will take a while to get used to the new name) … is one of my favorite places to walk around, shop and grab a bite. I can’t wait to give Planet Hollywood Observatory a try.
