I’ve always suspected that residents of Florida had the good life … mild winters, sunshine, nearby beaches and world-class theme parks … and now I know it’s true.
Residents of Florida now have the opportunity to receive savings on admission to Discovery Cove, Orlando’s most unique all-inclusive destination. Along with the special resident pricing, the park is adding a bonus of unlimited admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica (through January 31, 2017).
“Florida residents are our greatest ambassadors and we love having them visit our park,” said Stewart Clark, vice president of Discovery Cove. “We are proud to offer our best pricing of the year to our neighbors and our community.”
The Florida resident All-Inclusive Dolphin Swim Package at Discovery Cove is $219 per person and includes a 30-minute interaction with bottlenose dolphins as well as a full day of snorkeling, swimming and discovering. Discovery Cove packages are also available without the dolphin swim experience (priced at $149).
With Discovery Cove’s all-inclusive admission, guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals, snacks and beverages, including beer, wine and frozen daiquiris. Complimentary wetsuits, snorkel gear and environmentally safe sunscreen are provided. There are also showers, changing facilities, towels and lockers available for no extra charge.
Fun at Discovery Cove:
- Hand-feed exotic birds in the Explorer’s Aviary
- Float along the crystal clear water of the Wind Away River as you pass waterfalls, rainforests and float through an underwater cave
- Serenity Bay – Swim in 85-degree fresh water or relax and sunbathe on soft sand
- The Grand Reef – Swim with rays, colorful fish and sharks (the sharks are behind glass)
- Freshwater Oasis – Wade, float and encounter otters and marmosets beneath a rainforest canopy
- Much more
Florida residents must purchase and redeem their Discovery Cove pass by December 31, 2016.
As part of this special offer, guests will also receive unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica (SeaWorld’s water park) from the time of their Discovery Cove visit through January 31, 2017. In addition to all of the thrilling fun of roller coasters, animal encounters and water slides, the park’s annual holiday events – SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular in October and SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration in December – are included.

Discovery Cove was one of our best family time memories. Snorkeling in salt water, floating in fresh water, feeding tropical birds and interacting with friendly dolphins … what could be better than that? Excuse me while I head off to figure out the best way to make myself a Florida resident. Wish me luck with that one.
