Universal’s Endless Summer Resort: All-New Value Category Comes to Universal Orlando Resort

I love a luxury hotel as much as the next person. But I also love saving money (unfortunately, those two concepts don’t always go together). When I travel, I typically go for a budget hotel so that I can splurge more on experiences and dining (oh, and shopping). As much as I would love to spend the night (or two or three) at one of Universal Orlando’s hotels – from my research, they’re all amazing, and then there’s that Early Admission thing – I’ve never done it because of the cost.

Well, now I just might be able to take advantage of getting into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter before the rest of the universe. Universal Orlando will soon be opening their first resort in the Value category. With the name Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, there are two distinct hotels – Surfside Inn and Suites and Dockside Inn and Suites. If you’re familiar with Walt Disney World’s hotels, I’m thinking it’s a similar concept to the All-Stars Resorts – where there’s the three hotels (Music, Sports and Movies) built around an “All-Stars” theme.

With the addition of the Endless Summer Resorts, there’s now a hotel for every style and budget in the Universal Orlando hotel family. Previously, Universal Orlando offered hotels in the high-end range (Universal’s Cabana Bay, Loews Sapphire Falls, Loews Portofino Bay, the all-new Aventura Hotel, etc.…etc.…).

Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts

Combining the sand and sunset vibe of Dockside Inn and Suites with the ocean and surf theme of Surfside Inn and Suites, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort concept was created by the award-winning Universal Creative team.

Between the two, there are 2,800 rooms and 2-bedroom suites. Rates for both resorts start at under $90 per night. Families who need more space will find it easy to spread out and unwind in the 2-bedroom suites, which start at $115 per night for a 7-night stay. These suites sleep six and have a kitchenette and separate bath and vanity areas. This is a great option for families and groups of any size to experience and enjoy all that Universal Orlando has to offer at a value price point.

Do I still want to book a stay at Loew’s Royal Pacific Resort? You bet. But I will enjoy the comfort, convenience and benefits of Endless Summer just as much. Affordability and exclusive Universal benefits … It doesn’t get much better than that. Well, unless they would let me stay in Hogwarts. But I’m thinking that’s not an option.
